Council Training Day - Bakersfield

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Council Training Days are the training format for Southern Sierra Council. The majority of all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity, and Venturing training will take place in these one-day training seminars.

The NEW Cub Scout Leader Training requires that "Intro to Cub Scouting" be taken once. Position Specific Training (Tiger, Cub, Webelos, etc.) is taken before or as you change positions.

The Council Training Day will include these training sessions:

A.M.: (You may take 2 different A.M. Classes - 8:15 am OR 10:00 am)	P.M. : (You may take 1 early afternoon class - 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm)	P.M. : (You may take 1 mid-afternoon class - 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm)

Please see below for your leadership training sequence.

The training day starts at 8:00 AM and will be completed at 4:30 PM. Lunch provided for full day participants

Cost: $15.00 - for full day participants $5.00 for partial day participants (no lunch)

You will be able to attend several trainings throughout the day.

All leaders should eventually attend the Trainer's EDGE. Trainer's EDGE will enhance the training you give to your scouts, other leaders and even prepare you to be part of the Council Training Staff.
