TRI-DISTRICT ROUNDTABLE - Bakersfield
(Meridian, Pathfinder & Trailblazer Districts)
At least one adult leader from every unit should attend the Tri-District Roundtable held on the second Thursday of the month from 6:45 pm-8:30 pm at the LDS Church at 815 Monica - Bakersfield
This is your opportunity to network with other leaders and learn about ways to improve your Scouting program. At Roundtable, leaders can pick up notices, a terrific source of information regarding district, council, and national programs and events. Roundtable sections include Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, Order of the Arrow and Friends of Camp Kern. Believe it or not, Roundtable is actually a lot of fun…and educational, too! P.S. If you miss Roundtable, be sure to drop by the Council Office to pick up your unit’s mail!

The first part of the meeting has general information about events in the District and Council. The second part is a split session for the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts. These sessions are geared to the interest of each group and is open to anyone interested in Scouting. The roundtable works one month ahead with the themes, so people can prepare themselves for upcoming events. |

HELP YOURSELF TO A REWARDING ROUNDTABLE EXPERIENCE
If you attend, you'll take back some great ideas that will enrich your job as a den leader, cubmaster, webelos leader, committee chair, or whatever position you hold. Our boys are depending on You to give them the very best program possible. Scout leaders can always expect to learn lots of outdoor skills and troop management ideas that will make your job as Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, or Advisor a lot easier. By attending Roundtable, you'll stand "tall" in the eyes of your troop. Come join us at 6:30 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Bishop Scout Building on W. Line. |
